Refund policy
We want you to be confident in every product you receive from us. If something doesn’t look right, here’s how we handle it:
General Hop Product Refunds
Because hop product quality is highly dependent on proper handling and storage, we’re unable to accept returns on opened or used products. Once packaging is compromised, we can’t reliably assess the condition. If something seems off upon arrival, please refer to the Damaged or Defective Products section below.
Damaged or Defective Products due to shipping handling:
If your hops or hop products arrive in less-than-ideal condition, please file a claim with the carrier service first. Email us at info@yakimavalleyhops.com with details such as photos of the product and damaged packaging, carrier case number, and any other details you can provide. We will work our best to figure out what happened and issue refunds or replacements when necessary. Popped Bags: Due to the realities of shipping, vacuum-sealed bags can occasionally develop small pinholes from friction. Not to worry! Hop degradation requires a combination of light, heat, and oxygen over time (typically weeks to months). If this happens, simply reseal the bag and store cold. If you have concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Order Changes or Cancellations
Need to make a change or cancellation? Contact us via website chat, email (info@yakimavalleyhops.com), or phone at (509) 245-6363. We handle these requests on a case-by-case basis and will do our best to catch the order before it’s processed.
Merchandise Refunds
Our merch is rad, but we get it, sizing happens. If your item is unworn and unwashed, we’re happy to help with a return, exchange, or refund. Reach out via chat, email, or phone, and we’ll take care of you.
Rhizomes
All rhizome sales are final. Because they’re a living agricultural product, we cannot offer refunds for rhizomes that fail to grow. For order changes or cancellations, please refer to the section above. Be sure to review the rhizome product page for growing tips and best practices.
