Idaho 7 Hop Profile

Released in 2015, Idaho 7® is the first proprietary hop from Jackson Farms in Idaho. This hop is rich with pine and a zesty tangerine flavor that is reminiscent of marmalade, rounded out by a soft tropical notes of pineapple and guava. A true dual-purpose hop, Idaho 7® is capable of carrying a recipe on its own, but it shines in tandem with other varieties. It pairs especially well with Citra®, El Dorado®, Azacca®, or a clean bittering hop like Warrior®. A versatile, modern hop built for collaboration.

IDAHO 7® HOP SUBSTITUTIONS 

Idaho 7 is mainly used as a late addition hop with a distinct tangerine flavor, although it does do great as a bittering hop. Citra, Loral, and El Dorado are the perfect substitutions for Idaho 7. Try them in your next brew!
