Saaz is the famous aroma landrace variety originating in the Czech area of the same name. It has very mild, pleasant noble hoppy notes perfectly suited for and defines the Czech-style pilsner beers.

Aroma Classic noble aroma hop with a storied tradition associated with classic pilsner beer.

Current Alpha Acid for 2023 Czech Saaz is 1.7%. This is on the low end of historical averages due to the increasing climate pressures in the growing region. If you are looking for a higher alpha acid, then please check out US Saaz or Sterling.
